In a recent episode of their podcast “Pod Meets World,” actors Rider Strong, Will Friedle, and Danielle Fishel opened up about their experiences with former \u201cBoy Meets World\u201d guest star Brian Peck, who was convicted of sexual abuse.<\/p>\n

Joined by family therapist Kati Morton, the co-hosts delved into their relationships with Peck. They appeared in two episodes of the show’s fifth season and developed friendships with Friedle and Strong.<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision to address Peck’s involvement came as his episodes are approaching in the podcast’s lineup and in anticipation of an upcoming docuseries, *Quiet on Set*, which will explore allegations of abuse on various Nickelodeon sets, including Peck’s story.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friedle recounted how Peck had become a significant presence in his life post-Boy Meets World*, despite not typically socializing much. “The person he presented was this great, funny guy who was really good at his job, and you wanted to hang out with,” Friedle explained. Similarly, Strong revealed that despite a significant age gap, he spent much time with Peck.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fishel suggested that adults on the *Boy Meets World* set may have avoided questioning the relationship due to fears of being perceived as homophobic. She emphasized the importance of recognizing boundaries between adults and minors regardless of sexual orientation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Peck was convicted in 2003 of a lewd act against a child and oral copulation of a person under 16. Friedle noted Peck’s attempts to downplay the severity of his crimes and portray himself as a victim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both Friedle and Strong admitted to supporting Peck during his legal proceedings, even appearing in court for his sentencing. Friedle expressed deep remorse for his actions, acknowledging the profound impact on the victim and their family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reflecting on their past defence of Peck, Friedle admitted, “We weren\u2019t told the whole story, but it doesn\u2019t change the fact that we did it.” He struggled to articulate the range of emotions he continues to grapple with.<\/span><\/p>\n
