Arsenal Ignites Passionate Comeback in Champions League, Arteta Reveals

After six years, Arsenal is making its comeback in Europe’s elite club, scores 3-0 till the halftime because of the goals from Bukayo Saka, Leonardo Trossard and Gabriel Jesus.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, pointed out that his team’s emotional response to Wednesday’s return to the Champions League was the highlight behind PSV Eindhoven’s 4-0 defeat.

In their long-awaited return to Europe’s elite club competition after a six-year absence, Arsenal found themselves with a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime, thanks to the goals scored by Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Gabriel Jesus.

In Emirates Stadium captain Martin Odegaard made the fourth goal in group B at the last 20 minutes.

Arteta has said “It was great to see the atmosphere, the Champions League music. Everyone was getting a bit emotional before it,” Further he added “We’ve channeled that energy into competing at this level while savoring the moments, creating lasting memories.”

“We were ruthless, we took our chances and the finishing quality was top … Emotionally, winning is the best thing you can do, and I now have 24 players desperate to play on Sunday.”

Arsenal also give all they have to Premier League action on Sunday as they will face their rival, Tottenham Hotspur.
