Jake Paul is gearing up for another boxing match, this time against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, in an event set to be livestreamed on Netflix.

Scheduled for July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, the bout will be available to all Netflix subscribers. The co-main event and undercards will be revealed at a later date. The event is a collaboration between Netflix, Paul’s, and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).

This won’t be the first time Paul and Tyson have shared a boxing card. Paul previously fought in the co-main event of the pay-per-view featuring Tyson’s exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, where Paul secured a knockout victory over former NBA player Nate Robinson in the second round, marking Paul’s second professional boxing match.

Paul boasts a professional record of 9 wins and 1 loss, with 6 knockouts since his debut in January 2020. Most recently, he defeated Ryan Bourland via TKO on March 2. On the other hand, Tyson holds a professional record of 50 wins and 6 losses, with 44 knockouts.

Expressing his excitement, Paul stated, “It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard. Less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.”

Tyson also shared his anticipation for the event, saying, “I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.”

This event marks Netflix’s latest venture into live sports programming, following recent broadcasts such as “The Netflix Slam,” a tennis matchup between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, and “The Netflix Cup,” a golf event. Additionally, Netflix is set to become the weekly home of WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” starting in 2025.

Michael B. Abramson of Solomon Ward provided legal representation for Most Valuable Promotions and Paul, while Andrew Ruf at Paradigm represented Tyson.
