Machine 45m Series Sapphire
Machine 45m series sapphire is a family of high-performance computer numerical control (CNC) machines produced by Yaskawa Motoman. The series was designed for heavy-duty, large-part machining applications such as those found in the aerospace, energy, shipbuilding and large automotive industries.
The 45m series is composed of three different models: the 45m, 55m and 65m. Each model is distinguished by its table length, in millimeters. The 45m is the shortest, with a length of 4500 mm, while the 65m is the longest, with a length of 6500 mm.
The machines are equipped with a spindle that is capable of reaching speeds of up to 6000 rpm. They can also be fitted with an optional second spindle, which increases the speed range to 12000 rpm.
