Vistara to Induct 30 Aircraft in Next 15 Months: Boosting Market Share and Strengthening Position in Indian Aviation Industry
Recently, there has been a big announcement from the Tata Group regarding their airline venture. The Tata Group-owned airline, Vistara, has planned to induct 30 new aircraft in the next 15 months. This decision has been made in response to the growing demand for air travel in India and is expected to boost Vistara's market share significantly.
Expansion Plans
According to the announcement made by Vistara, the expansion plan includes the induction of 12 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 18 Airbus A320neo aircraft. With this move, the airline will be adding to its existing fleet of 48 aircraft. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is a long-range aircraft capable of flying non-stop for up to 16,000 kilometers, while the Airbus A320neo is a short to medium-range aircraft with better fuel efficiency.
