Razer Chimaera Wireless Headset – Razer Himera
The Chimaera comes in two versions - the stereo version which costs $129.99, and the virtual surround version which costs $199.99. The virtual surround version offers features such as digital optical and RCA inputs, an on-device equalizer, and an improved 5.8GHz wireless transmitter.
This plastic and cloth-lined production has deep ear cups that are trimmed with leather. There is a flip-down mic on the left earcup that is flexible and positionable. Both ear cups have four buttons on them – mute and power/sync on the outside and audio/mic volume on the back.
The combination charge stand and transmitter for your 360 or PC is large and prominently placed, with on-off and sync buttons, and (in the stereo version’s case) a single 3.5mm input. It has to be plugged in — no USB here.
