Billy Miller, a renowned actor known for his work on popular TV shows such as The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, passed away on September 15 in Austin, Texas.
He was 43 years old, with his 44th birthday just around the corner. Miller spent his childhood in Grand Prairie, Texas, before embarking on a career in modeling with Wilhelmina.
This led him to the acting world, where he secured a role on the soap opera All My Children as Richie Novak. In 2008, he joined the cast of The Young and the Restless, playing the character of Billy Abbott and becoming the fourth actor to do so.
Though he left the show in 2014, Miller received three Daytime Emmy awards for his work as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
He later joined the ensemble cast of General Hospital in 2014, playing the roles of Jason Morgan and Drew Cain until 2019. Throughout his career, Miller also appeared in other productions, including Suits, Ray Donovan, and Apple TV+’s Truth Be Told.
